The Falcon and The Winter Soldier have already revealed that Madripoor is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it now appears as if a character from the world of the X-Men is on their way to this shared world. According to the latest rumour to do the rounds online,
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will include the mutant Takeshi Matsuya.
Who? Well, in the comic books he's known as Wiz Kid, a computer genius who is confined to a wheelchair. His power is the ability to create machinery with his mind, and that's something which could come in handy for either The Mandarin or MI6.
There's nothing to say he will have powers or even be referred to as a mutant, but with previously Fox-owned properties like S.W.O.R.D. and Kang the Conqueror coming to the MCU, it's clear that Marvel Studios is starting to take advantage of characters that were once off limits to them.
It's previously been reported that the plan is for
Eternals to set the stage for the arrival of mutants in the MCU, but there's still no word on how their absence for all these years will be explained.

Lyja
A Skrull with the ability to shapeshift into humans or animals, Lyja is unlikely to appear in next year's Captain Marvel due to the fact her origin is very much rooted within the world of the Fantastic Four. She managed to infiltrate the team by posing as Alica Masters and served as both an ally and enemy to the team. Assuming we see more of the Skrulls in the MCU, Lyja will no doubt get in on the action.
