SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS Extended TV Spot Reveals Closer Look At Redesigned Abomination

Marvel Studios has released another minute-long promo for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and this one features heaps of action and a closer look at the redesigned Abomination's fight with Wong.

Earlier today, the news broke that Sony Pictures has pushed back Venom: Let There Be Carnage, but Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings appears to be sticking to its early September release.

That's definitely a relief (the last thing we want is another series of delays), and a Marvel Studios movie could be exactly what the box office needs to bounce back after a difficult few weeks. Regardless, there's a lot of new footage to get excited about in this one-minute promo, and make no mistake about it, Shang-Chi appears to be a bona fide badass once the gloves come off!

However, as insane as the movie's final battle looks, it's a better look at Abomination's overhauled design which is likely to get you most excited. He looks phenomenal, and a lot closer to the comic books than the version who battled the Jade Giant in 2008's The Incredible Hulk

"Marvel Studios' 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.

The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is currently set to be released exclusively in theaters on September 3, 2021.
