SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS Extended TV Spot Reveals Closer Look At Redesigned Abomination

Marvel Studios has released another minute-long promo for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and this one features heaps of action and a closer look at the redesigned Abomination's fight with Wong.

Earlier today, the news broke that Sony Pictures has pushed back Venom: Let There Be Carnage, but Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings appears to be sticking to its early September release.

That's definitely a relief (the last thing we want is another series of delays), and a Marvel Studios movie could be exactly what the box office needs to bounce back after a difficult few weeks. Regardless, there's a lot of new footage to get excited about in this one-minute promo, and make no mistake about it, Shang-Chi appears to be a bona fide badass once the gloves come off!

However, as insane as the movie's final battle looks, it's a better look at Abomination's overhauled design which is likely to get you most excited. He looks phenomenal, and a lot closer to the comic books than the version who battled the Jade Giant in 2008's The Incredible Hulk

Check out this new look at Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in the player below:

"Marvel Studios' 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.

The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is currently set to be released exclusively in theaters on September 3, 2021.

Ngl, those *LEAKS* truly changed everything for me.

I mean, i see people losing their minds over these...i don't even know how many trailers they've released, but to they seem bland af.

The trailers are...good? Ok-ish?

But HOLY SHIT what they have in store for us.

As a big ass Iron-man 3 detractor, i'm FINALLY and ACTUALLY looking forward to Shang-Chi. :3

@Arthorious - I think it will by the end of She-Hulks 10 episodes that a new Hulk will appear. Someone is going make the Smart Hulk angry.

@tmp3 - He's dubbed in almost every trailer and has said the same line like 3 different ways.

When she says "You got this" I don't think she talking about the Abomination. I think they cut it to make it look like he was facing Abomination. Just my opinion.

I was really excited when I heard they were making Shang-Chi. But this character is so far removed from the original. I have read every issue since he first appeared in Special Marvel Edition # 15 in December 1973 and I realize he might not work in today's market.
I also wonder if Sax Rohmer's Estate would not let them use Fu Manchu.

OT: Michael Keaton confirmed that WB did not make any changes to his Batsuit to make it easier to move in.
