Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was supposed to be released next February, but COVID-19 saw the movie pushed to May. Now, with Black Widow taking that slot, we can look forward to seeing the Master of the Martian Arts make his big screen debut on July 9th, 2021.

Recently, shooting moved from Australia to San Francisco, and director Destin Daniel Cretton has now confirmed that it's a wrap on the highly anticipated Marvel Studios release.

This means the studio now has two completed movies in the bag, and one that's moving into the post-production stage. Whether we'll get to see them as planned in 2021 remains to be seen, but it seems like Disney+ releases are off the table for the time being (though that could change following the news that Disney is shifting its focus to that streaming platform moving forward).

As for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, we don't really know what to expect. However, the real Mandarin will finally make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, and it's believed there will be some sort of fight tournament Shang-Chi competes in to get his hands on those titular Ten Rings.
