SHAZAM! Director David F. Sandberg Has Finally Revealed When The New Trailer Will Be Online
Shazam! fans have been wondering when we'd get to see the final trailer for the Big Red Cheese's first big-screen outing, and director David F. Sandberg has now revealed when it'll be released online...
We've been waiting for what seems like an eon for official word on the new Shazam! trailer, and now we finally know when it'll be online.
Director David F. Sandberg took to Twitter to reveal that the final trailer for Warner Bros.' latest DC adventure will be with us this coming Monday. He did include a video, but before you click, there's no footage!
The recent TV spots and promo art have given us brief teases of The Seven Deadly Sins and members of The Shazam Family, so there's a decent chance this new trailer will give us a some proper reveals on those fronts. We'll almost certainly see more of The Big Red Cheese going one-on-one with Doctor Sivana, too.
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Asher Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard (Djimon Hounsou). Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).
