Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set to fly into theaters this weekend (check back later for our review), and Warner Bros. Ireland has now shared a funny new clip from David F. Sandberg's DC Comics sequel.
When Billy Batson needs to get a message to the Daughters of Atlas, Eugene - who has been mapping out the infinite corridors - introduces him to Steve, a magical pen who will write down the answer to any question he's asked.
Billy decides to use him to transcribe the letter, but doesn't realize that Steve is writing down every word he and the other members of the Shazam Family are saying.
We then see a baffled Hespera reading the letter to her sisters.
Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.
From New Line Cinema comes Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.
