Shazam! Fury of the Gods is fast approaching, and we now have a new look at the movie thanks to a couple of very colourful promo posters.
On those, Zachary Levi's magically charged superhero takes centre stage, as does the entire Shazam Family. Those kids turned superheroes were only really given the chance to shine during Shazam!'s final act, so we're definitely intrigued to see how they factor into this follow-up.
There's a lot of uncertainty surrounding this franchise as we head into a new era of storytelling at DC Studios, something Shazam! Fury of the Gods' lead star recently shared his thoughts on.
"Listen, I have no idea what ultimately is going to happen to me. I think I’m in a pretty good position, I think we made a great movie, I think it’s going to do well - reasonably well, I hope so," Levi admitted in an Instagram Live. "But again, regardless of that, if they decide at some point that this is the way we gotta go - them’s the breaks, that’s how it goes."

Shazam! Fury of the Gods continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word "SHAZAM!," is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.
The sequel's cast includes Zachary Levi as Shazam, Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Adam Brody as Super Hero Freddy, Ross Butler as Super Hero Eugene, Meagan Good as Super Hero Darla, D.J. Cotrona as Super Hero Pedro, Grace Caroline Currey as Mary Bromfield/Super Hero Mary.
Djimon Hounsou returns as the Wizard, while Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu, and Helen Mirren have all joined the movie as newly created villains.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set to be released on March 17, 2023.
