A recent TV spot for Shazam! Fury of the Gods appeared to feature a brief glimpse of Wonder Woman, leading to speculation that Gal Gadot's cameo must have been left in the movie (reports indicated that her scenes had been cut), but that may not be the case after all.
An updated cast list for David F. Sandberg's sequel has been sent out, and it reveals that model/actress Taylor Cahill will appear in the DC Comics film as "Fake Wonder Woman."
What could this mean? Well, the most likely explanation is that we're in store for another faceless cameo!
In the mid-credits scene of the first Shazam!, Superman paid a visit to Freddy Freeman at school, but the character was only shown from the chest down. Could this be a similar situation? The footage certainly suggested that Diana will see some action in the movie, but her face could still be obscured like it was in the Peacemaker season finale.
This doesn't mean Gadot's Wondy couldn't also appear, but it would seem like a very strange decision to include a fake Diana when the real one was on hand.
