KRAVEN THE HUNTER Star Aaron Taylor-Johnson Looks Suitably Buff In Newly Revealed Set Photos

After Morbius, many fans are understandably unsure about trusting Sony Pictures' vision for Kraven the Hunter, but some newly revealed set photos shows star Aaron Taylor-Johnson looking suitably buff.

Kraven the Hunter continues shooting in the UK, and we now have another look at Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the title character in the Sony movie. Once again, he's not decked out in anything close to a comic-accurate costume, and it's looking like he'll spend a big chunk of this movie in this attire.

That's probably because this is one of the first times Kraven has displayed his powers in public, though it's disappointing that the first time we're seeing this villain isn't for a clash with Spider-Man.

There's a chance we'll see Kraven's classic costume at some point, but don't bank on it. The Venom franchise has taken major liberties with the source material by eliminating the web-slinger from Eddie Brock's origin story, meaning he wears a generic black costume rather than boasting that familiar white logo on his chest. Morbius, meanwhile, never donned a suit of any sort in his movie.

How Kraven the Hunter will fit into Sony's grand plan for a shared Marvel Universe is hard to say, especially after Morbius flopped. There are rumblings online that Michael Keaton won't be returning as The Vulture after the studio dropped the ball on his cameo, and we can't imagine Jared Leto is too keen to play the Living Vampire again after some of the worst reviews and box office takings of his career.

Kraven the Hunter will be unleashed in theaters on January 13, 2023.

Always thougth they could have/should have brought Taylor-Johnson back for a cameo as Quicksilver in some recent movie that was released this past weekend. That might have helped curb someone's motivation. Oh well...

Although I hope he's gonna wear his comic costume or something close to it, I doubt we're gonna see it. Maybe as a cheap closing shot to the movie where he wears the veat, but I don't expect anything more

What ever happened to villains being villains? Why try and turn villains into anti-heroes? The Kraven movie should be about him hunting heroes and villains. If you can’t used the heavy hitters like Spider-Man then have him hunt smaller deal characters that’ll never have their own movies like Speedball or Nitro.

@CAPTAINPINKEYE - I’m really terrible at remembering names so bare with me. But I like the dude that plays Loki for the next James Bond.

I was hoping they'd bring the REAL MCU Quicksilver back, they wasted Alan Taylor-Johnson. Now they are trying FORCE characters like this into having their own movies, who actually shouldn't. I understand that the guy HAS to work, therefore he took the role, and couldn't wait on Marvel Studios to bring him back.

Kraven the Hunter is not a hero nor an anti-hero, he's a straight up villain. Some villains can have their own movies, I just don't think that Kraven the Hunter is one of them.

When someone invents a time machine, someone tell me so I can go 5 years in the future to find this movie in a 5 dollar bargain bin at a box store.

It’s going to suck. Everything Sony and Avi Arad touches sucks.

He may not be Cavill, Hemsworth or Evens buff but I think it will work on the final film. The question is will he be the slightly crazed, anti-woke hunter and Spiderman villain and above all LOOK THE PART. You can do it guys, just look at the comic for once and do your best to make it come alive, no more of this foX-Men crap..

I wish sites would stop saying shit like "Marvel's Kraven the Hunter" and call it "Sony's Kraven the Hunter that they licensed from Marvel, not to be confused with the actually good movies that are in the MCU".
