In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter Parker hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter Parker when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

Because in general American guys can't act. Unless they're black. In which case they can really act.

That costume is fantastic but these pics reveal a flaw to me...I still like the comic book version where Spidey has a different shaped spider image on his back.

Spiders come in all shapes & sizes & it's just lazy to have same logo on back & front.
I know that's his "symbol" but Ditko was/is a much better designer than the guy who made that spider symbol.

@sameoldthing

I agree. Costume is awesome but Ditko was on to something when he gave Spidey TWO identifiable logos on ONE costume.

Even Raimi changed that aspect using the same logo front and back.

@sameoldthing...that big ass laud bug Ditko drew was lame. This ones fine. At least it's red and not black like the front. This way makes way more sense, IMO.

Does Gwen ever not wear boots?? I mean, I know she did in the comic, but was she wearing knee high boots at all times in the comics too?

It's not my intention to bitch, but can somebody please tell me why so many people think Emma Stone is "hot" ? I agree that she have her moments, but to me she seems very overhyped. Just my opinion though.

I wish they stuck with the original spider on the back of his costume...

@TheOwl20

I totally agree...

I do not see what anyone see's in her as hot...

She is very ordinary and ugly in my opinion...

She wrecked the Gangster Squad movie by not looking like a real woman but a kid...
