With 2022 on its way out, we're going to start looking ahead to next year with our epic 2023 movie preview, where we'll spotlight nearly every major upcoming release studio-by-studio.
Sony Pictures is next up on our list and we're expecting them to have a much better year next year with the long-awaited arrival of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse! The first one grossed over $375 million on an estimated $90 million production budget, and we're betting this one will do considerably better after all that positive Oscar buzz, and the inclusion of hundreds of new Spider-People!
They also have Kraven the Hunter and The Equalizer 3 coming next Fall and a Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel to close out the year, which should also produce positive results at the box office.
