While it was rumored to arrive tomorrow, Sony Pictures have announced that the new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will actually arrive on Tuesday, April 4.
The film's plot remains shrouded in mystery, but we'd imagine the new trailer will reveal the apocalyptic-level threat Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) find themselves up against, which seems to also involve a lot of Spider-People led by Miguel O'Hara (Oscar Isaac) as the latest bit of footage again sees Miles being chased by the whole Spider-Family.
The Across the Spider-Verse cast will feature the voice talents of Oscar Isaac (Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099), Shameik Moore (Miles Morales/Spider-Man), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker/Spider-Man), Brian Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), Luna Lauren Vélez (Rio Morales), Issa Rae (Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman), Jason Schwartzman (Spot), Rachel Dratch (Counselor), Shea Whigham (George Stacy), Jorma Taccone (Vulture), Greta Lee (Lyla), and Karan Soni (Pavitr Prabhakar/Spider-Man India)
The film will also introduce a ton of new Spider-People, including, but not limited to, the Japanese Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Man PS4, Spectacular Spider-Man, Spider-Man Unlimited, Spider-Byte, Superior Spider-Man, Spider-Wolf, and there are even heavy rumblings that Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland will make cameos as their respective live-action Spideys.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings exclusively into theaters on June 2, 2023.
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse debuts in theaters June 2, 2023.
