SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE's Green Goblin Is This Week's Funko Friday Target Exclusive

Funko Friday: Holiday Edition, a line of Target-exclusive Funko collectible figures, returned last week with a 10" Pikachu that sold out almost immediately. This week's special figure celebrates Sony's highly anticipated animated feature, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Revealed today, fans are now able to purchase the Pop! Marvel: Animated Spider-Man - Green Goblin 10".

As you can see, the Funko figure is inspired by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's unique take of the character as a massive winged beast rather than the more human-like portrayal we've seen in previous Spider-Man movies. His design is in line with the film's highly stylized animation which has made Into the Spider-Verse one of the more intriguing Spider-Man movies. Well, the design as well as a fascinating story that blends all different types of web-slingers from all corners of the Spider-Verse.

He's mean, he's green and he's got his eye on Spider-Man! The Green Goblin is one of Stan Lee's best-known villains, and whether you're a fan of the Norma Osborn, Harry Osborn or Dr. Barton Hamilton incarnation of the Green Goblin, there's no denying that he's a force to be reckoned with. This 10" Target exclusive Pop! is not for the faint of heart and should be kept under close watch as he will undoubtedly attempt some mischief.

The exclusive Funko POP! Marvel: Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse - 10" Green Goblin is available online only for $29.99, but it'll likely sell out quickly.

The collectible arrives just week's ahead of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's highly anticipated theatrical release on December 14, 2018.

Why are they so persistent on pushing that mutated ultimate goblin version on us and not the classic crazy guy in a suit on a glider version. Nothing about the mutated version feels unique to me

@Matchesz - Maybe because Miles is from ultimate universe?

@Matchesz - The mutated hulkish Goblin is Miles Morales' enemy. The crazy guy in a Halloween costume is the 616 version who is enemies with Peter Parker.

Didn't know that it was possible to make an already terrible design even worse.

Yeah. Like putting a loincloth, elf hat, and spiky gauntlet on a flamethrowing version of the Incredible Hulk is going to improve him.

Never liked this GG design. It's just a Hulk with horns. But this is the Ultimate universe, so at least they're being comic accurate, lol. And geez, how many villains are in this thing? I spotted Kingpin, GG, Scorpion and Tombstone. This movie going all out.

I like the Ult GG design, but this blend is... weird.

In the end I will probably pick it anyway. I'm a crazy collector and the figure is too cool to pass.

They have to continue with an "Into the Spider-Verse" Show, starring Miles and on Disney's new live stream channel.

They can use villains from other universes. Vulture Noir for example.

OT: Donna Troy TITANS trailer. She's definitely Wonder Girl and her power set looks to be introduced too.

I hope they show 616 Goblin lol, anyways I'm HOPING for the A4 trailer to be attached with Mary Poppins, which would have Lion king, Toy Story 4 and hopefully that! Disney is going to keep breaking their own records Haha
