Jamie Foxx has a new movie opening this weekend with Channing Tatum titled "White House Down." While talking with the press to promote the film, Foxx was of course asked about his role in Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." A specific question concerning whether his character, Max Dillon, better known as Electro, has any interaction with Paul Giamatti's Rhino, resulted in Foxx pleading the fifth. As fanboys are well aware, when it comes to comic book movies, a denial usually means a yes, or at the very least, that a question has struck close to the truth. However, at this point, there's only a metric ton of rumors surrounding the film with nothing confirmed.

Foxx was a little more forthcoming about his character while still being a little guarded about specifics. Said Foxx on why Electro is a good villain, "We gave him a personal story. We really honed in on Max Dillon, on being betrayed [by] love, family and work. When you get those three things done, that makes a great villain." From the little that was said, Electro already sounds like a more rounded character than Rhys Ifans' Lizard...at least on paper. Hopefully, we'll be privy to more specific details at next month's San Diego Comic Con.
