We recently got a first look at some photos from the London set of Sony Pictures' Kraven the Hunter movie featuring star Aaron Taylor-Johnson's stunt-double filming an action scene. Now, we have a glimpse of the Kick-Ass actor himself.
It's far from the clearest shot, but this does appear to be Taylor-Johnson suited-up as Sergei Kravinoff. The character, who is usually depicted as a Spider-Man villain, is not wearing his signature Hunter costume, and instead seems to be dressed for a formal occasion.
It's difficult to glean much more without context, but whatever happens at this mysterious event evidently leads to a high-speed chase with Kraven clinging on to the side of a car! You can also check out a brief new video and "Spiral" (presumably the movie's working title) below.
Kraven the Hunter will also feature Russell Crowe in an undisclosed role (most likely Kraven's father), Fred Hechinger as The Chameleon, Ariana DeBose as Calypso, Christopher Abbott as The Foreigner, and Alessandro Nivola as another unnamed villain
J.C. Chandor (Triple Frontier; A Most Violent Year) will direct Kraven from a screenplay from Art Marcum, Matt Holloway (Iron Man; Uncharted) and Richard Wenk (The Equalizer; Jack Reacher: Never Go Back). The movie is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on January 13, 2023.
