Brace yourselves, because LEGO has revealed The Daily Bugle, its largest Marvel set to date. With 3.772 pieces, it stands at over 32 inches tall and is crammed full of Easter Eggs for fans. This iconic Spider-Man location serves as an epic celebration of Spidey's corner of the Marvel Universe and is designed as the ultimate build-and-display project for adult Marvel enthusiasts.

It also includes 25 minifigures, and these are bound to be a major draw to comic book fans.

Who's in the box? Spider-Man, The Punisher, Daredevil, Mysterio, Blade, Doctor Octopus, Venom, Carnage, Peter Parker, Aunt May, Gwen Stacy, Miles Morales, Ghost-Spider, Firestar, Spider-Ham, Black Cat, Betty Brant, J. Jonah Jameson, Ben Urich, Robbie Robertson, Ron Barney, Bernie the Cab Driver, Amber Grant, the Green Goblin, and Sandman.

Many of these characters have never received official minifigures before now, and that alone should make this a must-have for collectors.

"Indulge your creative construction superpowers with this 3,772-piece recreation of the Daily Bugle office, bursting with authentic details, fascinating features and spectacular super-hero action," reads the official description. "This 4-story celebration of the Marvel Universe is a rewarding build-and-display project for adult model-makers and fans of comic-book culture that will attract attention wherever it is displayed."

Check out some official images below. The Daily Bugle set will retail for £274.99/$299.99 and arrives in stores on June 1st (VIP cardholders will be able to order theirs on May 26th).

Wow, I had never thought of the Daily Bugle used as a great battlefield. I like. It could be perfect for the third act of a Spider-Man movie.

@Nightwing1015 - oof. That hit me right in the childhood. This and the Arkham Asylum set were my favourites. (Although the Two-Face bank robbery and Joker vs. the Batwing were fun sets too... come to think of it, I think I spent all the money I got during holidays collecting every set in that series).

@CanadaMan - Well that was money well spent! They're very valuable now. 6-year-old me was lucky enough to get most of the line back then too. Never got the Scarecrow set or Bat Tank tho.

God damn it that's awesome. If they'd had done it the Raimi flatiron building I might even find it cooler. Maybe.

Nightwing1015 - 5/17/2021, 10:27 AM
@MosquitoFarmer - Apparently you actually need a license for that because it's a real building. So it would've been too costly sadly

That is really cool, Unfortunately my kids have grown past that age, I kind of hate it. I have to wait for grandkids. Believe me, they will be lego maniacs too

Is the 18+ on the bottom left the age recommendation? That would be weird.
Scarilian
Scarilian - 5/17/2021, 10:56 AM
Should have went with a more iconic design for the Daily Bugle, a generic modern day skyscraper design is a bit bland. Also they misspelled 'Curt Connors' as 'Kurt Connors' on the sign/sticker
bkmeijer2
bkmeijer2 - 5/17/2021, 3:20 PM
@Scarilian - I actually quite like the design. Judging from the few times I've in NYC, I think it does a well enough job to look like it fits in there
