In another great interview from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director has opened up about everything from the tone of the sequel to the characters. Despite treading carefully around questions about the Black Cat and whether or not Gwen Stacy dies in this movie, you may want to keep a very close eye on Webb's body language to see whether he gives anything away. As for whether any particular villains are being introduced to be brought back in the next two instalments, it certainly sounds like that is indeed the case (with The Rhino at least). The filmmaker also reveals the first shot of the movie and plenty more, so be sure to check out the interview below and sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
