I think the Lizard has been in the works for too long not to go that route, but who knows? Not sure why everyone has their panties in a bunch about Kraven? Although there are some epic battles in the comics between the two, would he really be that good of a main character in a live action movie? Some big game hunter with a weird accent wearing furs running around the city hunting Spiderman?

PETA would jack his sh** up and he would be covered with red paint the first time he showed his face :P

@dizzle - YES Kraven would be great! Because he would come to NY hunting the Lizard, and butt heads with Spider-Man. Then Spidey has to defend the Lizard from Kraven, the whole time the Lizard is attacking Spider-Man too.

But...I really hope if they do the Lizard, that they just leave him animalistic. I don't want to hear an internal struggle with some weird monster voice coming out of him. "Doc Connor fight it! I know you're in there!" Lame.

@ Jman - You need a bigger list of villains to choose from! Spidey actually has quite a few to choose from, not all heroes do.

@Bamf7: Ok, I'll give you that one if they do it that way. Like the fight within a fight idea. My only fear is that they make him a totally cheese ass version, full of stupid one liners and the such. Oh, and agree with the whole not being "part human" with a crappy animalistic voice and all.

@joshw24: Scorpion is on the list, I'm pretty sure.

@jman1977: Don't put em on backwards for sure, LOL!! Especially if they're thon......wait, hold on. I've said too much.

I would love to see venom ( yes I know he died but SM3 was shit so they could work it in) 3/4 of the way through carnage is introduced which leads to spidey and venom teaming up to defeat him. This leads Venom into a somewhat anti hero and ready for a spinoff in which the first movie could be him tackling carnage which should be R rated and one hell of a horror/superhero movie.

@ dizzle - Yeah, I don't think that the lizard or Kraven would be a good villain all by themselves...although Kraven might have a better chance of it. But it's high time some of Spidey's B list of villains starting getting some screentime...at least a little. Jeez, 3 movies out I'd think Spider-Man has got to be pretty established by now.

@ dizzle not sure about your question. I mention that if SM4 is done right it could have a great lead in for a venom movie to where he faces off against carnage in a great R Rated type horror flick

@spideysweb: They're not going to reinvent Venom in the same franchise. My point is, they are already in talks of making a Venom spin-off. Many on here are speculating the introduction of Carnage within that story arch. Why then, would they put either of them into a Spiderman movie?

spidewidey@ and dont forget sam raimi never liked venom. he has been clear that he only put him in the movie cause he was forced by the studio. he has also said that because of that experience he will have more control this time. therefore there is no way he will put venom back in another movie.

i guess it could work, but they would have to introduce the rest in the next 2 movies, and i don't see them doing electro or mysterio for sure. maybe cameos, but not as full on villains

It has to be the Lizard, I can't honestly think of a better villian that's been set up from the first 3 movies...Unless they're gonna do a re-boot which they aren't, then Doc Conners is the way to go!!! Oh and by the way, teabag, that picture is hilarious and after seeing Spidey 3 it might not be far off...

I don't know why people like Carnage so much. I think Bendis and Finch were right to have him torn apart and tossed into space in the pages of NEW AVENGERS. All he did was cheapen Venom's character by being a douchebag of a rip off. Down with Carnage.

Tobuttica i never got the fan hard on for Carnage either. Poor man's Venom.
