Loved the look of Sandman but i keep questioning as to why they did not give Goblin jr a proper 'Goblin' mask?

That scene with Harry next to the Goblin Glider/Mask in Spider-Man 2 will forever be one of the greatest cliffhangers!

This movie was so dumb.
I always forget James Franco was in the original Spider-Man trilogy because of the great movies he puts out now.

I wish they eouldve kept harrys goblin out itt and build a stronger story between Eddie Brock sandman and Venom!!!.. Shouldve kept franco out of itt or save him for the 4th or even a raimi 5th film!!

The one redeeming feature of this film (with perhaps the exception of Bryce Dallas Howard who I thought looked pretty saucy in her role) was Thomas Hayden Church and his Sandman.

I thought he looked great and gave a really engaging performance full of empathy. But the way they tried to tie him in with Peter was badly done.

What was badly done was them making Sandy the main villain when it should have been Venom

Say what you want about New Goblin's motivations (or lack thereof) and costume...but that fight sequence between Harry and Peter in the middle of the night when Peter's trying to hold onto Aunt May's wedding ring still gets my heart pounding when I watch it. There's so much at stake. Plus, they actually did use a fair amount of practical stunts in that sequence, and they're pretty cool-looking.

On another note...is anyone else beyond tired of nail's stupid gif banners on every single one of his articles? The Mandarin's rings, that awful Alice Eve screaming face, and now that stupid James Franco winky face? I don't find them funny; I find them obnoxious. Just wondering.

This movie may be an abomination...but this is probably one of the best scenes in a CBM and you have to agree.

There are a few missteps in Spidey 3...the Emo Peter dance scene being the most ridiculous.
Sandman being involved in Uncle Bens death the next..no need for that.

Harry using his dad's weapons was no big deal,he needn't dress up as Gobby.
Venom was decent but deserving of his own role as a major villain.
Too cluttered with stuff but not as bad as as many believe.

Would have been better than TDK trilogy if the third one was just good, if not better, than the second film.

The movie was very weak for several reasons, Harry's costume being another one. Im not even speaking with a comic nerd criticism, Im referring to practicality. So, Harry is gonna fly in open air at high speeds and engage in combat without any real protection for his body?? Not even a HELMET?? Its wise for a person goin 60 mph on a bike to wear a helmet, but flying at ungodly speed between narrow skyscrapers in NY is ok! Oh, and look what happens, he gets knocked in the head (should have gotten his head knocked OFF) and winds up with amnesia *rolls eyes*. Gods this movie was terribly written!!!
