TASM 2: Marc Webb On Changing The Costume; Would Love A FANTASTIC FOUR Crossover

First Showing got the chance to sit down with Marc Webb at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and the director talks about everything from how much the reaction to the suit in the first movie influenced the decision to change it for the sequel to the possibility of The Sinister Six. He also reveals that if he could have Spider-Man meet any other superheroes, it would be the Fantastic Four! Kevin Feige recently said that Marvel Studios work far more closely with Sony on the Spider-Man films than they do with Fox, so it's unlikely that this would ever happen (even the possibility of a crossover with The Avengers has been dismissed on more than one occasion). However, with no word on the status of Josh Trank's The Fantastic Four, many fans are surely hoping that the rights revert back to Marvel, making a possible team-up at least a little bit more closer to becoming a reality. Check out the interview below and sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
