Alternate Green Goblin Transformation - Deleted AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Scenes

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

Terrible CGI on the second video when he flies off. Never rendered.

Poor Peter Parker, no good story, no good villains, no good plots, no good CGI rendering...no good at alllll

It's not that graphic :/ I mean, they said he shattered his own teeth. I was thinking of him shattering his teeth to the floor :/

In the Menken death one, Harry sort of sounds like Green Goblin from the 90's animated series?

I don't mind these scenes, probably wouldn't have made the film that much better. I'd like to see an actual director's cut, I think it's more Sony who is [frick]ing up this series than Webb.

Alright, before y'all stone me to death...this is just my opinion cause I'm a huge Spidey fan.

I don't think this movie was so bad. Days of Future Past was worse. This movie had flaws...but I wasn't that bad. I don't see why it gets SO much hate.

Sony's releasing material because the digital copy was released this morning. iTunes has all of the deleted scenes, except for the alternate ending, and it has the full documentary that's on the Blu Ray available.

I've been watching most of it all morning. Good stuff on here and it's clear to me that Marc Webb knew what he wanted to tell but Avi Arad is cockblocking him at every turn.

By the way, Rhino was never meant to be seen as the third villain. He was always meant to bookend the film from day one. Electro was always just a foil for Spider-Man, meant to push the development of the real villain, Harry and Oscorp into the foreground in the 3rd act.

Most of the filmmakers knew what they really wanted in this film.

This movie was an amateur mess. Fire Webb if you insist on making Spider-Man movies, Sony.

DOFP may be overhyped in my opinion, but in no way is it worse than Spidey

They have apparently been showing all of the scenes that would have made the movie a tad bit better.

DOFP is a million times better. A bit overrated, but craps on this film, as Cap 2 craps on DOFP, and GOTG craps on Cap 2

Green Goblin SHOULD have been just normal armour painted dark with green and shades of purple with a nod to the original green mask.

Really love DeHaan's performance. I hope we get to see more of him in Sinister Six and other future films.

First scene was seizure inducing and the Oscorp battle resolution is missing.
Second scene has some tension but no substance
Third scene had a lot of potential especially with the blood stains then it devolved into another 'death scene' similar to Gwen's death

---

Still hoping to see the original cut that apparently had Peter attacking the Green Goblin after Gwen's death...

the thing that was wrong about TASM 2 is the Rhino part. they should have stopped the movie with the gentleman standing besides rhino's suit and harry saying '' and we start with him ''. then you have a sort of TDKR begin of the movie with no spidey so the sinister six can get on the street and do what they want, trying to get spiderman back to kill him.

@ optimusbibby

You're right. When they revealed his name was "Menken" in the lead-up to the film's release, I had been predicting for a long time that it wasn't Adrian Toomes.

Given the end credits hinted at the Vulture appearing in The Sinister Six, I think it's safe to say that we'll be introduced to Toomes in the near future. Now if only they can make the Vulture costume look scary without going all high-tech…...

Boy, I'm so glad I missed this. Looks like Roger Corman's Fantastic Four with a bit more budget. And again with all the action at night. Mist and shadows! Strobe lights! ugh. When will people realize that the best action scenes are done in daylight! Guardians. Avengers. Spiderman 2 train chase.

Such a piss poor movie with or without extra scenes.
It's not the cast & direction isn't really that bad.

The writing is just awful..fire the writers & beg Marvel to have some creative input.
Or just give it back to Marvel if they plan on continuing this mess.
