Marc Webb Confirms That B.J. Novak Is 'Alistair Smythe' In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Director Marc Webb has confirmed via Twitter that The Office's B.J. Novak will indeed be playing the villainous Alistair Smythe in the upcoming sequel. Now the only question which remains is how big of a role he'll play in the movie and whether or not we'll see the Spider-Slayers...

Spencer Smythe created the first wave of Spider-Slayers, while his son - Alistair - would later take up that mantle in a bid to get revenge against Spider-Man and J. Yeah, Kingpin is a Marvel Studios character, ever since DD reverted back, or maybe he's a 'shared' character and could be used in other studio's movies, not sure of Sony though...

I wonder if 'The Kingpin' will show up in a sequel. As bad as 'Daredevil' was, I really liked the casting of Michael Clarke Duncan (RIP).....I wonder who Sony will cast, if they plan to introduce him in a sequel. If so, do they even have the rights? 'Daredevil' went back to Marvel.....but 'Kingpin' is a notorious 'Spider-Man' villain....
