More New Footage In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 "Lights, Camera, Action" Featurette

Yet another featurette for Marc Webb's upcoming Spidey sequel puts the focus firmly on the action scenes in the movie, and provides quite a few new shots from the scene in which Spider-Man takes down a pre-armored Rhino as he drives a truck through (and over) some police cruisers.

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.


Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.

It's cool..we used to let that stuff go but we (or some of us anyway) are cranking down on it now. Gifs are fine, some racy-ish pics if it's at least somewhat on topic or relevant to a discussion..but anything else is being stamped down on.

But speaking of off topic, yesterday X-men threads were going off on tangents abt Ellen Page coming out wven tho their was a thread dedicated to that. And even that thread went south with all the bickering about homosexuality, religion and all that.... I'm enjoying this much needed heterosexual moment rite now. That's his last pic he said.

That was better than the trailer! Looks like this movie is focusing on the "Amazing" in "Amazing Spiderman!"

You know how the details of most comic book movies are kept under wraps until the movie is released? Sony doesn't do that. They feel the need to show off more footage than necessary so when the film does get released, you already feel like you have see it through everything Sony showed you in the promotional material.
