In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro, Sally Field as Aunt May, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn, and Dane DeHann as Harry Osborn. The movie hits theaters May 2nd, 2014.

At least with Cap you can't give the scenes a secuence thanks to the changing clothes.
When I saw it (a long week ago) I never knew the scenes would be in that order. Specially Fury's car chase.

And it's one thing to watch these scenes from your phone or computer screen compared to seeing them on a movie screen. Te same trailer I saw 1,000 times on my phone looked soooooo much better on screen. It was like if I was watching it for the first time again.

If you want to get yourself spoiled, you can get that with ANY film. The Dark Knight included. Here is the first trailer for The Dark Knight:

Notice how it's heavily implied that Dent will become Two-Face just like the comics and how heavy on the Joker scenes the trailer is. Notice how the trailer gives away that Rachel is romantically linked to Dent now. And let me repeat: that's the first trailer. Here is The Dark Knight's FOURTH trailer:

And here is The Dark Knight Rises FOURTH trailer:

What some people were saying about The Amazing Spider- Man 2 having too much trailers again? Let me point out to you that the fourth trailer for TDKR has 2.5m views, while TASM2 has 5.3m views. And counting.

http://www.movies.spoilertv.com/2008/07/several-leaked-screencaps-of-dark.html

Two-Face's leaked pictures date back to May 6th, 2008, more than two months before the film's release date. The Goblin's first close up wasn't leaked, it was officially released by Sony, and looked BRILLIANT, as much as Two-Face IMHO, maybe even more creepy, since the pathos of Goblin seems a lot more tragic to me.

My point is:

I didn't get myself spoiled with Two-Face's leaked pictures back then. I didn't get myself spoiled by whatever is the big secret in either of the films that I'm anticipating this year, and I will get to see these films with the excitement of a little kid because I consciously made an effort to not spoil my own fun watching these films, simply because I know better, and I do for a long time now.

So instead of blaming the studio for getting spoiled about a film that you are anticipating, how about taking the responsibility of your own actions and realizing that it wasn't the studios that spoiled you, the one who did it was yourself.

I honestly feel that the marketing for this film has been nothing short of brilliant so far. It might annoy those whoe are predisposed to hate on this, but the tv spots and trailers are out there to get the attention of the GA just like there were a TON of them for any big superhero tentpole out there.

There was a good interview with one of the members of the Schmoes and they talked about over-marketing the film. Each side had some good points. They even referenced the Avengers movie with the falling Iron-Man scene. It spoiled it, but at the end of the day, it brought a ton of people in and it was badass... However, we all knew it was going to happen those who saw Iron Man falling and getting saved by the Hulk could think that it took the fun out of it. I personally didn't see that scene until I've watched The Avengers in the theaters though.

I just feel that those who are willing to hate on this, will grasp at straws and blame the marketing for that, when the marketing has done nothing different than what the marketing blitz for ANY other superhero blockbuster film out there did.

Haters gonna hate, but I feel that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has the potential to become one of the greatest superhero films of all time, and quite possibly the best Spider-Man film ever.

What's always bothered me about the Spider-Man films, both Webb and Raimi's, is neither of them have taken advantage of the fact Peter Parker is just a boy. It comes down to casting. Yeah, they say Peter is in high school in TASM 1 & 2 but they've put a grown man in the role. Same goes for casting Gwen and Harry Osborne.

People say Garfield looked young at 26. Sure. Did he look like a boy? No. Casting a 15, 16, or 17 year old in TASM1 would've given the franchise a unique emotional weight. Not unlike the early Harry Potter films. Harry's peril felt different BECAUSE he was so young.

The reboot was a great opportunity to cast a young, fresh face. Like Jacob Kogan, who's acted along side Sam Rockwell and played young Spock in Abrams' Star Trek. Not only is he a talented actor but, at only 18 (15 at the time), audiences actually get a boy under the mask.
