We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

This suit is beautiful. When they eventually reboot the series, I hope they copy this one or borrow heavily from it.

This is literally THE BEST costume in any superhero film ever. I truly can't get enough of it.

I still have a pet peeve about it, though. The "runny" legs on the Spider are a little too "extreeeeme" for me.

But I suppose they want to keep it in line with the logo from the first movie. Be a bit irresponsible if people ran and got spidey tattoos and now they're like "you know what, that was a phase and we're over it", but thanks for permanently grafting that onto your body."

THIS is the first picture I really REALLY like of the suit!
They are not trying to hard on this..

In the first promo photos that we got, they were trying to hard to send out this message " we are making a comicbookmovie !! "... with all fake light and shitt..

Just make it simple like this.

I liked the previous costume with the rubbery look; this is classic look, sure, but kinda boring. Fer me, the perfect- or at least a super cool deal would be the rubbery texture of the first suit with this design, no raised webbing. Don't like the raised webbing so much. Having said all that, Spidey still looks like Spidey and that's all that matters and my excitement for the next outing of my favourite comics character could not be greater.

-With the previous costume on film, I noticed, you could often tell he was wearing a mask that could just be yanked off. This looks like one single piece from head to toe- obviously not in this particular shot. It's not gonna kill the movie or anything fer me, just a tiny little hardly even but still kinda gripe.
