VIDEO: The Schmoes Review THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Today is definitely a Sony morning...

I dont understand the hate of this. Was it amazing? No. it was OK. Bit too much romantic stuff and Electro was kinda pointless. But the relationship between Goblin and Electro was awesome and made me look forward towards Sinister Six.

But the movie is NOT as terrible as Josh want it to be.

Honestly I don't know your reasoning for hating, maybe because it's sony?! I don't know.. But this movie isn't bad, this movie is just ok this movie is actually good...

Electro isn't pointless, Rhino wasn't pointless want to know why?

People are complaining about the Rhino, and are missing the point, the rhino isn't actually supposed to be one of the main villains in the film, this is an introduction to his character and what is wrong with that? He is in the beginning it's cool that we get to see him before he's the rhino and teasing at that character and than again at the end of the film.

Electro? Pointless? Same deal but they gave him more of a story that goes with the movie, Harry is sort of the main bad guy in the background, but electro Is what seems like the main bad guy

Like what people think will happen with batman vs superman, obviously they won't be versus each other the whole film, they will probably team up to beat lex luthor. Lex will be the "main" villain but the movie will focus more on superman and batman fighting

A Spiderman movie was cheesy?? Shit, so it ain't so!!!!!

I'm so non-interested in Spider-Man anymore... from the comics to the movies... From Raimi's crap cheese fest to Webb's hipster Parker I can't stand it anymore. Why in holy hell can't a filmmaker like Nolan make a Spider-Man film, why??????!!!!!!!

BatManiac, I think many people hear the word being used and relate it to someone they think looks like a Hipster usually does...and there ya go. Someone actually called me a hipster on here once. That was funny.

Saw last week I didn't like it. It was okay but it was way over hype. Nothing special wanted more but was left empty. Its a fun movie but nothing great. Cap. America.was way better

My grandfather was a thespian, that makes me quarter thespian. Who are these dudes? They look like they just rolled out of bed smoked a bowl and then went to see a spiderman movie. I really don't trust their judgment. These movies are [frick]ing terrible. Although, I do like Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and I liked his costume in this film. That is it though.

So this was posted then, I wasn't seing things, thought it might have been the vodka lol

Watched it today once again Webb manages to balance some great scenes with some utterly pointless ones, resulting in another perfectly average movie.

And it still feels like a re-imagining of Raimi's movies rather than a new take o the comics

@Mercw That's probably a good thing. I am just a stranger on the internet. I wouldn't put too much weight in what any one person says either. But it does seem that there are quite a lot of people that agree with my judgement about this movie here...

Dont think the number of villains was the issue though just that Webb dosnt have a clear grasp on what motivates his characters.

Things just happen because, even Anakin's fall in ROTS was more authentic than what Webb served up with his villains.
