Vulture and Doc Ock in TASM 2?

While only Rhino, the Green Goblin, and Electro have been confirmed for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the latest trailer hinted that we could be seeing two more villains: The Vulture and Doctor Octopus.

We all know that Spider-Man 2 is including three villains (much like the unfortunate and much-derided Spider Man 3). However, the latest trailer suggests that there could, in fact, be even more going on in this movie. A scene that presumably takes place in Oscorp shows a man in a suit walking past a series of display cases as Richard Parker speaks in a voice-over, saying that he finally discovered what Oscorp was planning on using his research for. One display case holds four moving mechanical arms. Another holds a pair of metal wings.

This strongly suggests the existence of Vulture and Doctor Octopus (and further suggests that Richard Parker may have had a hand in the creation of their signature technology). While it is unlikely that Vulture and Doc Ock will appear as major players in TASM 2, this may reveal to us two more of the eventual players in the cinematic Sinister Six. At the very least, it represents a sweet easter egg for the fans.

I know it's fun for people to jump on the "too many villains" bandwagon, and accuse this movie of being Spiderman 3 all over again, but...Spiderman 3's issue wasn't the number of villains, but rather how the villains were handled in the story.

Batman Begins had a solid handful of villains, and Dark Knight had even more. Some related to each other in the plot, and some didn't, but all seemed to work. If Vulture and Dr. Octopus are in this, I'd assume it's simply a cameo setting them up for future films.

How is it possible that they STILL CANT GET THE GREEN GOBLIN RIGHT?!
His current comic book look could easily be translated on film.

Don't give me that shit about how do you explain the mask/costume.
A true creative scriptwriter using the actual comics as source material could make it work.

Trailer looked to have cool action but aside from Spidey's great suit, villains look lame as hell.

I hope all this plays out well in the actual film. Seeing is believing..just guessing now.
This could be similar to Raimi's Spidey film, the second one being leaps better than the first.

Sinister Six: Rhino, Electro, Doc Ock, Vulture, Green Goblin and hopefully Sandman (if not GG or Sandman then Mysterio)

I think they are going to handle the villains quite well in this installment. They will weave in and out of eachother as if they are all the main villains in their own episodes. Like the movie is a three part microseries

Apparently that's from the after credits scene and there is another chamber with the Venom symbiote (Oz formula)

The Sinister Six will be Electro, Rhino, Goblin (I still think Harry is hob), Vulture, Doctor Octopus, and Venom.

I really hope they go the Ultimate Spider-Man TV show route with Doc Ock.

Comparing this to The Dark Knight in terms of character timing, Electro is equivalent to the Joker, Goblin to Two-Face and Rhino to Scarecrow/Falcone.

So Electro (Jaime Foxx) seems great! Rhino im starting to warm up to now... Harry as (Hopefully Hobgob) seems... decent....

Sinister Six...,

1- Electro
2- Rhino
3- Vulture
4- Mysterio
5- Doc Oc
6- Sandman or Kraven

Norman Osborn uses them to critaclly wound Peter in the third film spiderman nearly defeats them all then the true Green Goblin reveals himself! (Almost like Bane in Knightfall)

Why the hell are yall begging to see Sandman on screen again?

Spidey has more villains to use for a movie version of the Sinister Six.

Shouldn't even be using Doc Ock

I think it will be Dr. Otto Octavius who is behind all the designs of OsCorp, he probably ordered Peter's parents killed, or did it himself for Norman Osborn, when they turned on OsCorp. When two or three villains aren't enough to defeat Spidey, Otto forms the Sinister Six for ASM3, puts on the arms, which in some way is caused by Spidey to be permanently fused to his body, maybe?

@MBZ1993 Philip Seymour Hoffman seems like to obvious choice for Doc Ock in the reboot... although I do agree that Alfred Molina was incredible in the role

They're not in this.
The devices they use however is.

This is merely to help set up future films.

Webb isn't going to be able to handle 5 or 6 villains in this movie without making it implode.

It's going to be Harry, Rhino, and Electro.
That's it.

Sony does NOT have the rights to The Kingpin. As some may remember, the character appeared in the "Daredevil" movie, which means the rights used to belong to FOX and are now part of Marvel (as everything within the "Daredevil" rights reverted to Marvel).

Villains are characters. Some people see them as investments of screen time. I don't. The more you see of them, the more you take them for granted.

Look at this, for example. We see a brief shot of Doc Ock's arms and Vulture's wings, and we're pretty much confirming it for ourselves that they're going to be playing a part in the next one.

The man in the hat at the end of TASM and in that trailer shot... nobody actually knows who he is, but we're definitely guessing. Who gets more attention these days? Electro, or speculation?

DeHaan's Goblin is clearly the Hobgoblin he's not green enough. I think Norman will be the Green Goblin. As for the Vulture & Doc Ock I think that they'll break out of Ravencroft & Harry's Goblin will steal the tech from Oscorp & give them to the breakouts at the end of the film to set up the sequel.

Maybe we'll be getting the Sinister Six in this movie?
Goblin; Lizard; Doc Ock; Electro; Vulture; Rhino. That makes six.

Sinister Six:
Lizard
Electro
Rhino
Goblin
Doc Ock
Vulture

Doc Ock and Vulture will be introduced in ASM3.
ASM4 will be all about The Sinister Six.
If things go well, whoever gets killed/incarcerated will open spots for new members of the Six. Venom, Mysterio, Kraven or even Carnage.

@MrHulkSmashin

Really? I remember reading Fox actually bought the rights from Sony and included it in the "Daredevil" package...

Anyway, I don't see a way a "Daredevil" TV Show can work without Fisk, unless Movie Rights and TV Rights are different things.
