Bizarre Promo Video For SUICIDE SQUAD Offers Up A New Look At The Members Of Task Force X

To, er, celebrate the squad selections for the England soccer team, WB has released a promo video offering up some new shots of the members of Task Force X along with all of their vital statistics...

Of all the pointless ways to promote a movie, this video is up there with the very best of them. Clearly someone in the Warner Bros. UK offices had a little too much time on their hands, but if you can suffer through this cringeworthy couple of minutes, you'll be rewarded with new promo images featuring most of the members of Task Force X (though there's nothing new for The Joker, sadly).

With Suicide Squad just a couple of months away, the actual marketing campaign will no doubt kick in soon enough, and it's going to be very interesting to see how Warner Bros. handle the press tour compared to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Chances are that they'll make sure the interviews take place before the reviews are released in order to avoid any sort of #SadSmith situation...

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to the movie? As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

Great Josh you mentioned the word soccer.

Now all the [frick]ing soccer loving fans will do in this comment section is whine & bitch on how soccer is called football and not soccer.
