EDITORIAL: DetectiveCinema Presents DC's SUICIDE SQUAD

Warner Brother's Suicide Squad left a lot to be desired. While there is apparently a sequel in the works, here's my take on DC Comics infamous supervillain team.

Well, this wouldn’t be the Squad’s first rodeo with all things Apokolip-tic. Interesting cast you have here, if I do say so myself.

Not sure about this cast to be honest. Plot sounds interesting though.

Have you wrote a treatment? Treatments are nice.

I like the cast though and the synopsis. Has a very "sophisticated" take on Suicide Squad. I like it. It needs a good "action blockbuster thriller" vibe unlike the 2016 Suicide Squad.

@AyMan - I haven't written a treatment, unfortunately. Although I might start including a prologue's for each pitch in the future, would that be of interest?

@DetectiveCinema - Yeah, like not even the full treatment as those can range from 3-30 pages the max lol.

Maybe just the 1st act? Get us excited to learn more? So that way it's like a pitch document where at the end, we are just desperate to learn what happens next. But yeah in some way a Prologue/1st Act would be great to see.

Not a bad cast. Sure this would be better than what we got.
Fun Fact:- This fan cast was posted on Noah Taylor's 49th Birthday.

@FeedTheHorse - Noah Taylor is great! I loved his stint on Game of Thrones as Locke. I think he'd be perfect for Capt. Boomerang.

"the chance of a lifetime" makes it sound like a Disney channel original movie.

@Kevwebsz - Fair, but it's more a play on words with the fact that these criminals are serving a lifetime sentence.

Another fantastic fancast, really enjoy reading them.
Love the movies you use as inspiration, Oceans 11 was lat film I bought on VHS and used to rewatch it all of the time.
The Town is one of those films that lives upto the book, and just such a good movie.
WHat more needs to be said about the Italian Job, a classic.
Also each pick was great in terms of casting.

@SimplyAz - Thanks man! If you keep reading them I'll keep posting them! An adaption of Jack Kirby's Fourth World is next in the pipeline.

A good Suicide Squad movie would be something like the film Sicario, but with a comic book twist
