New IMAX Poster For David Ayer's SUICIDE SQUAD Is The Most Inventive One-Sheet You'll See This Year

Does Suicide Squad have the best posters of any 2016 comic book movie? An argument could be made for that, especially as the latest portrays Task Force X in a very unexpected and unique manner...

The vast majortiy of posters for comic book movies are lazily Photoshopped messes which don't end up doing the characters any justice. Thankfully, Warner Bros. is being a little more inventive than that when it comes to Suicide Squad, and the IMAX poster for the big screen debut of Task Force X is certainly a lot more unique than the one-sheets we saw for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

Check it out below and then be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

The IMAX "Suicide Squad" poster is pretty sweet.

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to the movie? As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

The marketing for this movie makes it look like... I don't even know what. Some kind of weird 90's movie, I guess.
