New SUICIDE SQUAD Critics TV Spot Hails The Supervillain Flick As "The No. 1 Movie In The World"

Yes, despite the negative reviews, Suicide Squad has had a block-busting opening weekend - but can it maintain its course for much longer? Check out some previously unseen footage in this critics TV spot...

After a pasting from the majority of critics, David Ayer's Suicide Squad has still gone on to have a record-breaking first few days at the box office. Many predict a massive drop-off as it heads towards its second weekend, but for now it is indeed the number 1 movie in the world, as the TV spot below proclaims.

The promo is a short one, but it does contain some of the more positive (obviously) review quotes, as well as a brand new shot of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Suicide Squad is out now, and stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Common as Monster T, and Adam Beach as Slipknot.

I can't wait for the Chris Evans laughing gifs now. I do love the comments about Suicide Squad on this site.

Hopefully if they do decide to make a sequel, they should just make it where Gotham is in an Arkham City type of situation, where the Squad is sent it to recover some assets/dispose of some villains/lock them back up, and have the Squad come into straight confrontation with Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl and the rest of the Bat-family for an epic city-wide brawl between the two teams, where both have more of less the same goals, but much different means and tactics.

@isee - I'd die.

That's amazing.

Keep the Bat-Family limited though. Until the final battle.
