Set to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", the second (well, first if you don't count the SDCC footage) trailer for Suicide Squad was... quite something. We did get a better idea of the plot - although the specific details still remain a mystery - but this teaser was really more about introducing the violent and volatile members of Task Force X.
Mr Sunday has you covered on some of the stuff that might have slipped by you, but here you can peruse all of the best shots of this motley bunch at your leisure and let us know what you like/dislike most about how they've been translated from the comics, and what roles you think each character will ultimately play in the film.
It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016.
