Scott Eastwood Talks SUICIDE SQUAD And Seeing Jared Leto As 'The Joker' For the First Time
Revealing why he was afraid to talk to Jared Leto while in Joker mode, Scott Eastwood talks here about Suicide Squad and doing his own "physical" stunts under David Ayer's direction. Check it out!

When E! News caught up with Scott Eastwood yesterday at the Maui Film Festival, the actor had talked a bit about the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad. Although he didn't address his mystery role in the DC Comics adaptation, Eastwood did discuss doing his own stunts, director David Ayer's vision, as well as Jared Leto's portrayal of the Joker. "David Ayer is doing something the world will be really surprised about," said Eastwood of his director. "We're a lot of our own stunts... really physical, and David is a very physical filmmaker. He wants everyone doing their own stuff, and he doesn't hire guys who are not willing to do that." About sustaining some bumps and bruises from doing his stunts, Scott Eastwood said, "I think active guys are always living with injuries. You're always dealing with an injury. That's part of it. It's like sports. There's always something."
Scott Eastwood was then asked what was it like to meet Jared Leto as the Joker for the time. "I think I was sort of afraid to approach him because I didn't want to mess with his thing going on," he said of his Oscar-winning Suicide Squad co-star. "But I knew him before. I met him before he was The Joker. I just met him as Jared Leto. So I didn't know if I wanted to mess up his thing."
Anyhow, Scott Eastwood has been heavily rumored to portray Steve Trevor in Suicide Squad before appearing in the Wonder Woman movie. However, given that Chris Pine has since entered talks for that role, Eastwood's character in the DC Cinematic Universe is still very much a mystery. The actor has been spotted filming Suicide Squad in military garb on several occasions. What do you think?
Directed by David Ayer from his script, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang),
Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), with Raymond Olubawale (King Shark), Jay Hernandez, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack, Adam Beach, and Scott Eastwood. The film releases on August 5, 2016!
