The Extended Cut of
Suicide Squad boasts 11 more minutes of footage that had comic book fans salivating at the prospect of seeing Jared Leto's Joker in all of his intended glory. Sadly, the additional footage features more Killer Croc, an expanded dialogue scene with Harley and Deadshot, Harley antagonizing the rest of the group, and just one more additional scene with Joker and (you guessed it) Harley Quinn. As you can see, if there's a single star benefiting from the extended cut, it's definitely Margot Robbie.
One disappointed (and likely frustrated) fan has gone to extreme lengths to pinpoint all of the Joker footage glimpsed in behind-the-scenes set video, TV Spots and b-roll footage missing from both the theatrical cut and extended edition. Check it out below.
Suicide Squad: Extended Cut is the must-own version with more action and more Squad! Watch the movie with extra footage not seen in theaters. It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
