EW has just debuted a clip from the upcoming extended edition of David Ayer's Suicide Squad, giving us a look at a scene that was cut from the theatrical release.

In it, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) chases down The Joker (Jared Leto) on a motorcycle before forcing the iconic Batman baddie to come to an abrupt stop. It seems The Clown Prince of Crime was attempting to sever ties with Miss Quinn for some reason. Easier said than done!

I'd like a real Joker cut that's closer to 3 hours...with ALL the delted Leto scenes.

Wait....what the [frick]? That's more Joker and Harleys relationship than any other scene in the movie. and it was cut? For [frick] sakes Warner Bros. You had their relationship right (unless this is the only scene like this we'll see) and you cut it.

Doesn't matter given this is only an extended cut and aspects of the extended cut wont be brought up in future films because;

1. If it was, then they would have included it in the first film
2. It would confuse the general audience who didn't see this stuff in the last movie
3. It would now be tonally inconsistent with the previous movie where there relationship was played in a more twisted and yet weirdly 'romantic' way
4. Including this on an extended cut means they have no plans to use this scene for a future film

@ComicsBornAndBred - that scene would have been so much better if Leto was still in Joker makeup, but just wearing glasses and a dad-sweater, and both of the kids looked like clowns each with their own dumb forehead tattoos

@TheOnlyWoj - THIS!!!

YES! It should've been them as a [frick]ed up family. Kids as clowns. Harley cooking up some [frick]ed up dinner.

Maybe a few dead bodies surrounding the dinner table with Joker smiles on their faces.

Harley and Joker aren't suppsoed to want normal. Her words in the bar scene contradict her dream sequence. Apparently, she wants to be normal.

I don't think we're ever going to see this dude's Joker ever again, unless he's in Birds of Prey.
