We all know what the critics thought of David Ayer's
Suicide Squad, but audiences around the world have clearly been singing a different tune. According to
Box Office Mojo,
Suicide Squad has now knocked Marvel's first
Iron Man film out of the 50th spot of the ranks of 50 highest grossing domestic movies of all time.
So far, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and the rest of the crew have made
$318,584,857 domestically and a whopping
$731 million worldwide, recently surpassing
Captain America: The Winter Soldier on that front. Some other notable mentions on that list are
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is at number 46 with $330,360,194, and
Guardians of the Galaxy at number 45 with $333,176,600.
With the film continuing to break records, it's hard to imagine that we won't be seeing a sequel. Will you be seeing
Suicide Squad again before its theatrical run is complete?
