Yeah, it's not like video could be used as an alternative format to spread opinions or anything. We just put zero effort into videos and then pray for subscribers so we can make tons of money and be the next pewdiepie. There's just no way that some people prefer an alternate medium than text to spread their opinions. No way!

@JokerReturns
Yeah, what you're listing is great. The problem is those godawful tattoos. Especially the "damaged" one.

P.S. to anyone else making stupid comments about the format. A: My videos do not generate revenue, I make them purely as a fan of CBMs. B: Just because you prefer text, doesn't mean videos don't belong on the CBM website. C: Videos take longer and are harder to produce than articles. Thank you for using your brain before commenting.

Yep, I got two unsubs just because I didn't care for the Joker look even though I said I still had hopes for the films rendition. Some people refuse to accept anything other than their own opinion.

Unpopular opinion: The Dark Knight was a good film.

In the official pic, I don't think his skin is that white/pale

I'm still really hoping that this is just for the 75th anniversary but what's scary is how you mentioned all of the gang symbold (the tear) and everything, I spotted that too and Ayer also directed Training Day and Harsh Times, which focuses on all the gang stuff you mentioned....

I was looking at Ayer's filmography

And he's directed some good stuff and some bad.... I'm a little worried now

Training Day and Fury were great movies

but

Harsh Times
Sabotage
Street Kings
SWAT

and dare I say, The Fast and The Furious

I mean, I want to see a DCCU from the comics, so now I'm worried....

I'm really thinking Killer Croc will just be some big juiced up steroid junky thug now

@EvilMonk

I've been saying this since last night, and yeah, it really does feel like a joke, haha

I really, really, hope it's a joke

@EvilMonk

That's what I'm hoping too, but if you think about other movies the Ayer has directed like Training Day, Harsh Times, Sabotage, End of Watch.... you could totally see him coming up with this look for the Joker

In other words, I hope it's a joke, but it would actually kind of make sense if it's not, in Ayer's eyes and vision

In other words, shit.

If it is a joke, then bravo DC

The hair color is spot on perfect. I can be fine with how the lips are portrayed even though we saw better with Nicholson and Ledger's versions. The skin color is different, but I'm fine if he's more Albino white than just bleached white.

The tattoos though are just a tad bit too much and so are the metal crowns.

You're like "Damaged" is a thing a white teenage girl would post on her tumblr bla bla bla but that's what I find awesome, the Joker is so much of a sixteen white girl "nobody undestand meeee they think I'm craaaazyyyy I'll make them crazyyy tooooo". I'm ready for a drama queen Joker, it'll be great.

What amaze me is the fact that there's so much people covered in those kind of tats wether they are perfectly sane or a little... "damaged" and everyone is like "JOKER COULDN'T BE CRAZY ENOUGH TO DO THAT" yeah soooo... I mean he's a showman, we know how singers and stuff end up looking. The Joker as always been THE crazy, he's supposed to be out of social norm in the beginning, I know there is no established origin for the Joker, but you don't become a guy like that without making some bad choices at some point in your life... And he seems to have!

I don't think you watched the entire video because if you did, you wouldn't have made the comment you just made.

@ClumsyToaster
But I did, I just think the opposite when it comes to "tatoos are over the top it doesn't work" because the Joker is an over the top character to me. I wasn't really impliying you when I talked about people saying "Joker wouldn't be crazy enough to do that" just... oversimplifying to make my point (well, saying it like that make it look pretty bad)
Cool video nonetheless, we can see you that really put some thought in this and it's a pretty valid point of view I see totally where you're coming from I just respectfully disagree.
