Margot Robbie Confirms She'll Return As HARLEY QUINN Next Year But For Which Movie?

Gotham City Sirens may have stalled but Margot Robbie has now confirmed that she'll reprise the role of Harley Quinn next year. The question is, which movie is the actress going to be appearing in?

In a new piece over at Variety, Margot Robbie and Jake Gyllenhaal sat down for a conversation and while there was no mention of the latter possibly suiting up as Batman, it has now been confirmed that Robbie will reprise the role of Harley Quinn next year. The question is, for which movie will that be?

"I hope to be playing Harley again," the actress confirmed, "at least next year. I love her." There was no mention of David Ayer's Gotham City Sirens at this year's Comic-Con, so that probably isn't the project Robbie is referring to. Rumour has it that Suicide Squad 2 will start shooting in 2018 but it's also possible that she's talking about the recently announced animated series which is in the works.

Then, there's Joker vs. Harley Quinn which has a team of directors but no confirmed start date. For now, it seems we'll have to wait and see but the signs are pointing to an official announcement soon.

What do you hope to see
next from Robbie's version of the fan-favourite villain? Sound off below.

@KingCipher - I took it as she was going to be filming next year (2018) for a film released in 2019.

She said she HOPES she'll return next year.
I understand that Supermans S has caused confusion as to what Hope means, but this is ridiculous.

She was a great Harley! Bring back Deadshot, too. Don’t take too long because someone at WB will have another big brainstorm soon.
