I thought Suicide Squad rocked, I loved it, and I think the critics are extremely wrong on this one, there is no way it deserves a 26%.

Also, Leto said he wanted the movie to be rated R.

It sounds to me like, WB wanted to release a PG-13 movie, but Ayer and the cast went all out, with no filter, that's why so many scenes were cut and most likely why the editing process was a mess.

All that said, I loved the movie but I want a Joker cut, NOW.

Where the [frick] was this? I was extremely hyped to see this on screen after the trailer

It's hard to understand why the [frick] they would choose to cut some of these scenes.

And, I'm sure Leto still got paid well, but I feel for Leto. I can't believe how many scenes were cut, especially after all the hard work he put in

Nope.

And, once again. Calm down.... you tagged me about 4 times because you kept changing your comment.

I understand how RT works. I'm saying that the movie doesn't deserve to have the a 26% on RT, because it deserves better than that, it deserves better and shouldn't be associated with a number as low as 26%.... because that can turn movie goers away from a movie that they could really enjoy (it's one of the things that I've always disliked about Rotten Tomatoes) Because the movie was a [frick]ing blast, and everyone I went with and the audience enjoyed the film.

And, right now, the audience meter on RT is at 73% vs the critics 26% which is a pretty big divide.

Yes, it's my opinion that the RT score should be higher than 26% and that Suicide Squad deserves much higher than 26%.

Your telling me that I can't say that I think a movie deserves a better rating or more positive reviews?

Critics aren't the deciding factor on whether a movie is good or not, especially after initial reviews, this has been proven plenty of times in the past. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Psycho, Blade Runner, The Shining, Fight Club are just a few of the movies that critics got wrong, movies that DESERVED better reviews when they were released.

Shit, even It's a Wonderful Life and Citizen Kane got negative reviews upon release and Citizen Kane is considered one of the greatest movies of all time and Citizen Kane DESERVED better.

I do understand that.... I've used the words score and meter, I've never said 26% was a rating. 26% (the tomatometer) is the largest number that RT chooses display, that is how their scores of movies are usually discussed. The majority of the GA doesn't see it as a scaled score.

And, I'll post this again because I don't think you read it....

The movies listed below all deserved better reviews from critics when the movies were released, and with time, critics agreed that they deserved better reviews.

Wow, my dude. I still never said 26% was the rating.

It sounds like your reading certain parts of my post with extreme intensity, and ignoring other parts. Like the fact that history has proven that critics have given good movies bad reviews. Movies that deserved a better reception initially. Either way, your arguing for the sake of arguing now, ha.

To each his own man.
