It's no secret that a lot of material was cut from David Ayer's (now
Oscar-winning)
Suicide Squad, and it appears that even more scenes were planned for the DCEU film before cameras even started rolling.
In some newly-revealed concept art from artist
Ed Natividad, we get a look at some scenes and character designs that could have been, including a concept for Batman villain
Scarecrow,
the Joker and Harley Quinn stopping in a McDonald's drive-thru, and - most interestingly - a confrontation between the Joker and the Dark Knight. Many hoped that Ben Affleck and Jared Leto would share some time onscreen in the film, and it looks like it was planned at some point.
Would you have liked to see any of these make it into the film? Let us know what you think in the comments!
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
