Film Sketchr posted a new Man of Steel article today, that includes a brief interview and artwork from Warren Flanagan. You can view some of the images below, but to see all of them, and the full interview click here.

Here is an excerpt.
"The most challenging design was the smallest prop in the film...the command key!" Warren said, "It was a challenge to make it feel like it was Kryptonian technology without it getting too complicated because of its size.

"It was important to retain the 'S' emblem in the design as well...so really the shape of the key revolved around that symbol which made it instantly recognizable as Jor-El crafts it in the nano chamber.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

Man Of Steel was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script written by David Goyer. The cast includes: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Schiff. In theaters now!

Lets be honest kid, Fox has a better chance outgrossing a Sony Marvel movie than a Marvel Studios or DC film.

Hell First Class didnt even make that much bank. How that shit movie got a sequel is beyond me.

69ballZdeep -

MOS is bombing so bad its embarrising.

And yet...it's going to out-gross ALL of Marvel's Phase-one films.

Out-grossed:

-Captain America: $368.6 (total)
-The Incredible Hulk: $263.4 (total)

Out-grossing soon:

-Thor: $449.3
-Iron Man: $585.1

Are those films considered embarrassing bomb?

Thank you for your apology but I am fine, the box office is fine as well. Though I need to apologize to you, I should have had your mom abort you but I was to cheap to buy a wire hanger!

Man of Steel will make more than any Phrase 1 solo film.

Think about that for a second. Superman coming off of 3 shit films can outgross any of Marvel's heroes. Only when the heroes are combined does Marvel stand a chance and all Superman has to do is bring in Batman and then Avengers are done.

Daddy's home mutha[frick]er.

Thor The Dark World won't gross higher than Man of Steel. Thor doesn't have an attraction Iron Man does. Also The Dark World has to worry about Hunger Games. Sure that franchise is shit but like I said before:

Women run the box office. It's why we have 5 Twilight, 4 Hunger Games, only 2 Hellboy films and no sequel to Dredd.

Superman gave Lois the key to hide it from Zod.

It's not like that's not been done before in movies ever.

/sarcasm.
