It was mind blowing IMO. I'm a huge fan of Marvel Studios, but I will say with this movie they may have some competition.

Having a grimm Superman is sort of like having an upbeat Batman...

Then again, if Supes desereves to be grimm in any of his films, it should be in his origin story - having him come to terms with just how alone he really is...

I just hope that there's a conscious shift in tone/atmosphere by the end of the movie with Superman becoming what he should be - a beacon of light, and a symbol of positive aspirations.

Loved it. Love how they went back to how trailers used to be. They showed you enough to show the tone, and tease scenes that would occur in the movie. Not show the whole movie in a trailer and show most of the big scenes in the freakin trailer.

Good job WB.

I don't like the change they made to Pa where he's more worried about the secret than protecting innocent people.

It looks good over all, but I'm still unsure about how it will turn out. I love Superman and am hopeful, but I'm keeping a wait and see approach.

Wasn't not impressed but it didn't wow me either. We'll see how the second full trailer looks.

The trailer didn't impress me. Kinda old hat. Nothing too far from what was on Smallville or Superman Returns really. I have low expectations and it did nothing to change it.

Pa Kent seemed conflicted about what Clark should've done. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if the maybe he threw out there is out of context for the benefit of the trailer.

And if not I can see how he may feel that Clark being superhuman and all maybe should not decide others' fates, who knows

All I know is that I can not wait til June 14 cause this is going to be FANTASTIC

@weneedrevelation Maybe people are excited to see a gorgeously shot movie that is advertising itself as an epic about a man discovering his destiny instead of a mindless tongue in cheek action comedy. And this isn't a post from a Nolan fan, Rises was a absolute joke from a film making standpoint.(And I'm not a big fan of the first two.) This is a post from someone who is sick of shit comic movies that's fan base doesn't understand the art of movie making or story telling.

asshat.

@weneedrevelation I here ya, I was just curious. I'm the same about this whole war thing. Some of you guys call me a nolanite when I don't think he is a god. He does make good movies and a lot of people would agree but because TDKR is my favorite movie this year I'm automatically a nolanite lol I'm very excited for ironman 3 and man of steel, I think it will be close for cbm of the year between them two.

Already looks a thousand times better than Superman Returns. I was afraid of this turning into a rehash movie but I have a feeling I'll be proven wrong just like with Batman Begins and Star Trek.

This has the potential to be the greatest [frick]ing cbm and an instant [frick]ing classic like Superman: The Movie, Batman 1989 & The Dark Knight.

OR

a total [frick]ing disaster.

I choose greatest cbm ;)
