Smallville is alright. It's an interesting take on Superman. I've watched every season, and it's not my favorite show, but it's better than a lot. Plus some episodes are really good. Some of my favorite comics were mini-series, or different takes on the old storylines.

Therefore, I am now convinced that the first fifteen or so of "Captain America:The First Avenger" will go a little something like this--

A weak looking Steve Rogers is given the
Super Soldier Serum, and becomes Captain
America. He gets on an airplane that is headed
to Germany. The plane lands and Captain
America steps out. He is immediately shot in
the face by a Nazi soldier. ROLL CREDITS.

Ok,I'm a huge Smallville fan, but I'm not a 100% fan of JSA. Can't stand Hawkman, Jay Garrick is OK, don't know much about Dr. Fate or the stargirl (know idea what her name is), but who the heck is Sandman? Isn't he from Marvel?

If that is the plot of the Captain America movie that would be awesome! Heck I hope the Super Soldier formula kills him and his head pops off. Cap is as lame as Batman. Sorry dude, but when you are standing in between Iron Man and Thor there is the distinct possibility of being pulverized...unless of course he uses his magic ricochet shield that somehow prevents every bone in his body front breaking when someone like the Hulk punches it...but who questioning comic book physics?

Also, what does a villain's inability to actually decide to drop a bomb on a superhero's base have anything to do with physics...? Now, I'm with you on the whole "his bones should be shattered" thing...unless you suspend disbelief enough to agree that it is because he was turned into a super-human, but your whole "nuke" statement has more to do with psychology than physics.

Well, they kind of had to kill Wesley, he died in the comic, remember? At the beginning of the last revival.

Does suck, as he's my favorite, behind Carter Hall.

One word, vibranium.(actually a supposed alloy of adamantium and vibranium). It's fiction, people. ANY superhero would be hamburger in 5 minutes if they faced the dangers in real life that they face on the page.

@BubbaDude--yeah, he did die in the comics, but his death was a heroic self-sacrifice type thing, not just a minor plot point to get things going.

As a side-note, why do I feel like this movie will completely rip off "Watchmen" plot-wise?
