Every wondered why Superman has such disdain for Lex Luthor? Well, it's because Lex refused to show up in a very pivotal time in his life where he was ready to ascend from Clark the Blur to Superman. Posted three days ago (The 14th of January) via his Twitter account, Rosenbaum denied the rumors of any talks between himself and the Smallville producers....

Its about money. It is always money. Him saying that he hasn't talked to the producers is misleading because of course he hasn't he never did. He has a manager that does these things for him.

I still think this is a disinformation campaign, there are very few things about upcoming episodes that fans do not know about ahead of time. All this press straight from those involved is the only way to refute the "sources" that sites like Kryptonsite get their spoilers from.
