SUPERMAN RETURNS Star Brandon Routh Acknowledges Problems Working With Director Bryan Singer

Many troubling accusations about Bryan Singer have come to light recently, and Legends of Tomorrow alum Brandon Routh has reflected on his experience working with the director on Superman Returns in 2006!

Last January, a damning investigative report was published containing numerous allegations about director Bryan Singer. We won't get into specifics in this post, but it was alleged that he had abused a number of then underage males.

Similar stories have since been shared online, and allegations like these have actually been making themselves known since 1997. Talking to Michael Rosenbaum, Legends of Tomorrow heartthrob Brandon Routh took a deep breath and then reflected on his time working with the director on 2006's Superman Returns

"He wasn’t always the kindest person to everyone," Routh admitted, adding that even though Singer mostly treated him with respect, he witnessed behave in a difficult manner with others.

Actors like Bond baddie Rami Malek and Dark Phoenix's Sophie Turner have made similar claims.

After he was fired from Red Sonja, Singer has been unable to find a job in Hollywood, and his career could be over. Innocent until proven guilty is still a thing, but these claims make the director box office poison in the #MeToo era.
