Unrevealing New Synopsis For MAN OF STEEL Released; DC Relaunch Their Website

As part of their revamped website, DC has launched an official page for Man of Steel, which includes the reveal of a new synopsis for the upcoming movie. Hit the jump to check it out and for more detail on their new site.

The relaunch of DC's official website has already seen the reveal of some brand new Before Watchmen artwork - find it HERE - and now Zack Snyder's Man of Steel has been given its own page. Unfortunately, there's not currently any sign of new details or pictures about the film, but we do have this synopsis (which basically just lists the cast of the movie). Interestingly, they also list our friends over at the Superman: Man of Steel (2013) fan page as the official Facebook/Twitter account for the movie! Regardless, here's that synopsis in all its unrevealing glory.

Superman takes to the skies once more as acclaimed actor Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Immortals) dons the suit, cape and S-shield of the MAN OF STEEL. With an all-star cast that includes Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as John and Martha Kent, Clark’s earthbound parents; Oscar® winner Russell Crowe as Superman's Kryptonian father Jor-El; The Fighter's Amy Adams as intrepid Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane; The Matrix's Laurence Fishburne as editor Perry White; and Boardwalk Empire's Michael Shannon as Superman’s otherworldly archenemy General Zod, populations from Smallville to Metropolis are psyched for Superman. With the directorial stylings of 300's Zack Snyder and the superheroic production team behind Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, the sky's the limit for the last son of Krypton!

Nothing too exciting, eh? Well, just in case you were wondering what exactly this website relaunch entails, below is the press release detailing the alterations to the all-new website. It sounds as if DC has a lot more planned for fans over the coming weeks and months. Be sure to click on the link at the bottom of the page to check it out and sound off with your thoughts below.
