New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Posters Spotlight The Four Heroes In A Half-Shell

Paramount Pictures has released four character posters and a theatrical one-sheet for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, giving us new looks at Donnie, Raph, Mikey and Leo leaping into action...

Here's another batch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows character posters, once again spotlighting the titular lean, green fighting machines.

Obviously these guys have featured very prominently in the film's marketing, but fans were also hoping to get posters for Casey Jones (Stephen Amell), April O'Neill (Megan Fox) and Shredder (Brian Tee) at some point, too. Hopefully we'll see 'em before the sequel's release at the end of the month.

The Ninja Turtles come into conflict with T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady and an unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O'Neil and Vern Fenwick comes to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.

Starring Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Brian Tee, Will Arnett, Gary Anthony Williams, and WWE Superstar Sheamus, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows is set to be released on May 30.

Well, all I can say is this looks like a minor improvement over its predecessor. It also doesn't look like it takes itself so seriously this time around, which may actually work in its favor. I wouldn't say I'm hyped for this, but it'll make for a fun little romp that pays homage to the 80s cartoon.

Still not ideal, but the designs are much more simplified. I don't get how bebop and rocksteady look like they just walked out of the cartoon while the turtles are still weird giant monsters. Oh well

@The72nd - Backpedalling. Simple as that. It's why there's a new Shredder as well.
