Fan-favorite character Casey Jones (Josh Peck) makes his debut in the November 9th episode of Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and in the following clip we see he and April have a natter before being attacked by the Mutagen Man.

Well, he shouted "Goongala" as he charged into battle..happy? Seriously though, I understand that making Jones a teenager and (seemingly) watering him down a bit hasn't sat right with fans, but at the end of the day there was the same outrage over "younging" April and that worked out pretty well. Thoughts?

You know what gets me is that originally Casey Jones was kind of a throw away character on the original cartoon. He was a loon. His inclusion in the first movie baffled me (even though Elias Koteas was awesome). But for some reason he's a thing now and I don't know why. Maybe it was the Koteas effect.

Casey Jones was a huge supporting character in the original comics, almost as big as April. He's more or less Raphael's best friend and he ended up marrying April.
