Four new character posters for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem have been released and, as you might expect, the Heroes in the Half-Shell take centre stage.

Below, you'll see Nicolas Cantu's "Leo" (Leonardo), Brady Noon's "Raph" (Raphael), Micah Abbey's "Donnie" (Donatello), and Shamon Brown Jr.'s Mikey (Michelangelo). We're guessing the movie's supporting cast and villains will eventually receive their own posters, but these do a great job of teasing the animated reboot's unique visuals.

Another look at the awesome foursome has also been showcased on a leaked poster which features the teenagers leaping into action.

With a new trailer set to be released on May 31, it's clear the marketing campaign is about to pick up in a big way, so more reveals are bound to be right around the corner.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the animated movie's release date has been moved up from August 4 to August 2, and the only competition it will face that weekend is The Meg 2: The Trench. The R-Rated sequel is likely to draw a much different audience than this animated adventure for the turtle-y awesome heroes, so we have a feeling Mutant Mayhem will be a hit.

Some fans had been hoping for a new live-action outing, but this looks like a major improvement over the Michael Bay-produced efforts (especially with the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse-inspired animation).

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts.

Their new friend April O'Neil (Ayo Edebiri) helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

The cast also includes Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, John Cena as Rocksteady, Jackie Chan as Splinter, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Seth Rogen as Bebop, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.

Directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is set to be released in theaters on August 2, 2023.

Feels pretty cringe honestly. The 'Teenagers' act more like immature pre-teens. The character redesigns and alterations aren't particularly good. The film is over-stuffed with villains and it does not really feel like anyone was asking for yet another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie - especially by Seth Rogan of all people.

Only thing it has going for it is the animation style, but it feels like a cheap knock-off of Spiderverse.
