Ezra Miller will be seen in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald this weekend but most comic book fans are more interested in finding out when the actor will be suiting up as the Fastest Man Alive again after his appearances in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
The project has suffered numerous delays and gone through a few different directors and with recent reports pointing to a 2021 release, what was initially being planned as an adaptation of Flashpoint appears to have well and truly stalled.
"Nothing is ever certain in this world, but as certain as things get, we’re making a f*cking crazy-dope Flash movie," he promises, while posing in the latest issue of Playboy. "It’s one of my great life dreams, and just the fact that we’re on the way—anyone who knows about Barry Allen knows he may arrive late, very late, but once he gets there, it’s all solved. We have to trust."
Given how cagey Warner Bros. is being with its release slate, it's hard to "trust" any of these movies becoming a reality right now but we'll hopefully hear something solid sooner rather than later.
For now, here are some of the photos from Miller's photoshoot for the magazine...
