Unlike Marvel, a shared Cinematic Universe isn't a priority for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. They feel that their various small screen projects will have more freedom if they're not beholden to the movies, a fair point when you take into account the fact that neither Gotham nor The Flash would exist if they took Marvel's stance. On the other hand, this decision is somewhat frustrating for fans who would like to see Stephen Amell's Green Arrow join the Justice League for example, but what if every live-action DC superhero were to meet on the big screen in an adaptation of Crisis On Infinite Earths?
